TFM runs a combination of free community inclusion events, as well as specialised day programs, workshops and retreats. Please find our current events and programs below.
Join us for an unforgettable day amidst the lush greenery and vibrant flora of the Auburn Botanic Garden.
During our stay, we will test your knowledge of plant species as you embark on an exciting game of Flora Bingo, followed by a visit to the Auburn Aviary where we can admire exotic, endangered and brightly coloured species of birds.
After preparing and indulging a delicious lunch together, you get to unleash your inner athlete in the heart of nature with a game of football before ending our beautiful adventure in Auburn’s natural oasis.
Please note: families are welcome to attend if they wish to support their child/youth, please advise us at least 3 weeks beforehand, if possible.
📝 Please bring
Your own water bottle (every day if you attend more than one day)
Hat and sunscreen for outdoor activities (don’t worry, our staff will bring extra sunscreen if you forget yours)
👥 Support Staff
All sessions will include a ratio of 1:3 support staff to participants.
Please note: if you prefer 1:1 support, we can happily cater to your request. Please contact us to book at least 3 weeks prior to the event day, if possible.
💸 Pricing
In alignment with the NDIS price guideline, each program/day will be charged according to the ratio of supports per participant.
Activity costs, such as program or entry fees, will be included in the total cost of your program.
Lunch will be provided – if you have specific dietary requirements, please notify us ahead of the event day (at least 3 weeks prior to the event day, if possible).
Any additional planning or specialised support will be added separately to the cost of the day program.
🚌 Transport
Transport can be provided to and from the events and is charged additionally per km as per NDIS guidelines.
Please notify us if you will be dropping off participants or picking them up from the event.
⌛️ Meeting Time & Location +Program Duration
The day will run from 10am to 2pm.
We will meet for our exploration day @10am: Auburn Botanic Gardens – Chisholm Rd + Chiswick Rd – Auburn NSW 2144
After our morning activities, we will cook a delicious BBQ together and play a game of football.
The day will end @2pm.
Please note: the day will be slightly longer for participants who are travelling with The Form Movement to and from the event.
☎️ Cancellation & Fees
If you need to cancel your booking, please inform us as early as possible to avoid incurring cancellation fees.
Our programs, whether they are run by us directly or in conjunction with a third-party provider, require considerable preparation and particular attendance numbers. Hence, we would greatly appreciate you let us know well ahead of time.
If you cancel too late and we cannot fill your spot, we have to charge you as per our cancellation policy below: 3 days before the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee and less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
